1. Reese Witherspoon: Who needs baubles when you’ve got an Oscar
The Legally Blonde star adds a Hollywood twist to her holiday décor.
A tradition that was started many years ago by her children, Reese's 2006 Best Actress Oscar statuette for Walk the Line gets a seasonal makeover every year.
Reese, 49, said: “At Christmastime, they put a little hat on him and a little scarf, so he doesn't get cold.”
Reese has Ava Phillippe, 26, and Deacon Phillippe, 22, with her first husband Ryan Phillippe, and 13-year-old Tennessee James Toth with ex-husband Jim Toth.
2. Chrissy Teigen and John Legend: Serving holiday vibes… with a side of McNuggets
Why play the basic snack game with milk and cookies when you can have a McDonald's on Christmas Eve.
Legend said: “It's a Chrissy tradition, for sure."
Although it's fast food on Christmas Eve, it's gourmet cuisine on Christmas Day for the Legend family.
The singer added: “We've decided that Beef Wellington is our go-to Christmas main dish from now on.”
3. A breakfast fit for a King and a Queen... just not together
While most families wake up to a cosy Christmas breakfast together, the British Royal Family take a “his and hers” approach.
Former royal chef Darren McGrady dished that the men and women of the family start the day separately, only reuniting for a trip to church.
He said: “On Christmas Day, the ladies generally opt for a light breakfast of sliced fruit, half a grapefruit, toast, and coffee delivered to their rooms.
“The male royals, meanwhile, come downstairs to the dining room for a hearty breakfast at 8:30am, with eggs, bacon and mushrooms, kippers, and grilled kidneys, to set them up for the 11:00am church service at St Mary Magdalene.”
4. Eva Longoria: An early delivery from Santa
The former Desperate Housewives actress just can't wait to unwrap her Christmas gifts.
Eva, alongside her husband José Bastón and their son Santiago, skip Christmas morning and dive straight into the gift opening on Christmas Eve.
She said: “I’m Mexican. I’m a Texican. We celebrate on the 24th. We don’t really do the Christmas morning, like, wait [for] Santa. Somehow Santa came at 2:00pm and here are all the presents."
5. Kim Kardashian: Festive mac and cheese
Turkey takes a back seat in the Kardashian household, with Kim serving up her famous six-cheese mac and cheese as the centrepiece of the family’s Christmas feast.
Matriarch Kris Jenner once said: “She cooks a lot at my house. She does the best fried chicken and she does mac and cheese and she does great veggies and she does an amazing banana pie.”
