Clementine Douglas thought Calvin Harris' collaboration request was a hoax at the first.

The EDM superstar messaged the British singer/songwriter on Instagram to ask her to sing on his track Blessings, which was released in May and was a hit all over the globe.

Clementine, 33, initially thought she was being catfished when Calvin, 41, slid into her DMs on Instagram.

When asked if she thought it could be a hoax, she said: "Yeah! It was mad because he just messaged me on Instagram out of nowhere. I wasn't expecting it.

"I just saw the message pop up and I couldn't read it for a few hours because I was like, ‘Oh my God, what's it going to say?’ And then when I read it, I was just like, 'Yeah!' Then he sent me the track and I wrote it in a couple of days."
