Kim Kardashian wanted to "taunt" the people behind her 2016 Paris robbery.

The 45-year-old star has reflected on her decision to wear diamonds as she testified in court against those involved in the terrifying heist, which she did while sporting a $3 million diamond necklace set in 18K white gold.

In a teaser for next week's episode of The Kardashians, Kim admitted the made the move to "taunt the f*** out of these losers".

At the time of her testimony in May, jewellery expert Laura Taylor - who had no connection to Kim - weighed in on the meaning behind her accessories.

She told PEOPLE magazine: "This isn’t just another public appearance, it's the first time she has come face to face with the people who tied her up, held her at gunpoint, and stole millions worth of jewellery.

"She knew the cameras would be there, the images would be shared globally, and in typical Kim fashion, she made sure she was in control of how she was seen."

The episode will follow Kim during the trial of 10 people accused of being involved in robbing her of millions of dollars of jewellery in Paris almost a decade ago.
