Louis Tomlinson will officially release his third solo album How Did I Get Here? in January

Louis Tomlinson has announced his third solo album, How Did I Get Here?.

The former One Direction star will release his follow-up to 2022's Faith in the Future on January 23, 2026.

Louis, who has shared the first taste of the LP in the form of lead single Lemonade, admits he finally feels like he's becoming the artist he always wanted to be.

He explained in a statement: "I sum up it as ‘The record I always deserved to make.' My bread and butter is my honesty. I genuinely wear my heart on my sleeve, and I hope it comes through in the music. I'm still learning and getting better as a singer and a songwriter. I find it impossible to be complacent; it's not in my vocabulary. For the first time now, I'm allowing myself to be the artist I'd always hoped I'd be."

Louis recently teased that he has a "good feeling" about his third solo album.

He posted to X last month: "Just sat listening to the new record and I’ve got a really really good feeling this time round! Can’t wait for you all to hear it!!"
