Pop star Kelly Clarkson has confessed she finds dating "very difficult" and compared trying to find love in the public eye to a "dumpster fire".

The 43-year-old singer divorced her husband Brandon Blackstock - the father of her two children - in 2002 and she's confessed she's still single because trying to find love while living in the public eye is like a "dumpster fire".
In a video posted on TikTok, Kelly was seen speaking on stage during her Studio Sessions residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and telling the audience why she's still single, saying: "Dating can be very difficult which is why I don’t ...
"It’s hard anyway, add a spotlight and it’s like a … dumpster fire."
It comes after Kelly recently admitted she fears she's following in the footsteps of her parents, who divorced when she was six years old.
During a performance in Atlantic City, New Jersey in May, Kelly told the audience: "We learn from our parents, [who] learn from their parents. We keep repeating the same horrible s*** over and over.
"Now, it turns out that I chose the same f****** path."
