Jessie J vowed to "beat" breast cancer in an emotional speech at her final show before she undergoes surgery.

The 37-year-old pop star went public with her breast cancer diagnosis earlier this month revealing she is battling an "early" form of the disease and is scheduled to have an operation later in the year - and she used her performance at Capital's Summertime Ball with Barclaycard at London’s Wembley Stadium on Sunday night (15.06.25) to tell fans she's planning to overcome her health issues.

She told the audience: "I've always been an open book. Today, this show is my last show before I go to beat breast cancer.

"So it's so special to me you have no idea. I feel so proud to be from the UK, to be an honest person and say how you feel.

"This is my last show before go treatment and all the things It's the most special thing and I'm so grateful for this life, for you guys, for my career, to my, my son. My partner, my parents.

"My family, my band, my crew. We are so lucky, we have so much to live for, so much joy ... There is so much to do."

She wen ton to introduce her track Living My Best Life, saying: "This song is the soundtrack for myself.

"This is hands down one of the favourite songs I have written and it's called Living My Best Life. It should have been called living my breast life ...

"Let's put some good energy in this place because I know I'm not the only one going through something right now."

Jessie - who is mother to two-year-old son Sky with basketball star Chanan Colman - previously revealed she was given the diagnosis prior to the release of her single, No Secrets on April 25 and she has been "in and out of tests" since.

She said in an Instagram video: "Before No Secrets came out, I was diagnosed with early breast cancer. I’m highlighting the word 'early'.

"Cancer sucks in any form but I’m holding onto the word early. I have been in and out of tests throughout this whole period ...

"To get diagnosed with this, as I’m putting out a song called ‘No Secrets’ right before a song called Living My Best Life, which was all pre-planned before I found out about this, I mean you can’t make it up.

Jessie went on to reveal she plans to "disappear for a bit" after her performance at the Capital Summertime Ball.

She said: "It wasn't something I'd planned, but yeah. I’m getting to keep my nipples, that’s good. It’s a weird topic and a weird situation.

"I am going to disappear for a bit after Summertime Ball to have my surgery, and I will come back with massive t*ts and more music."

The Price Tag hitmaker joked: "It's a very dramatic way to get a boob job."
