YUNGBLUD “got hit by a car” in Paris.

The 27-year-old singer admitted his "mental" ordeal in France made him question his legacy as he began to think about his own mortality, and it has been the catalyst for him wanting to change.

He told the Daily Star newspaper's Wired column: "I got hit by a car, which was mental. I had a bit of a trip.

"You know, I was like, 'F****** hell, would I be happy with what I left behind?'

"And I wouldn't of, honestly.

"Mortality - I'm 27, so it's something that kind of comes in, inevitably, to all of us at this age.

"It's like the biggest turning point."

The 'Abyss' hitmaker - whose real name is Dominic Harrison - believes he has "re-centred" himself and become a better person.

He said: "I focused on a lot of bulls*** that's not important before ...

"I've become a better brother, better son, better lover and better mate.

"I re-centered myself."

And Yungblud has made some dramatic lifestyle changes to "look a bit hotter" for his upcoming fourth LP, such as ditching beer for "vodka lime sodas", as well as boxing "five times a week".

He said: "I thought, 'We've got a great album, I've got to look a bit hotter, I got in the gym.

"I boxed five times a week.

"I also quit the beer [for] vodka lime sodas!"
