Timothee Chalamet transforms into Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown trailer

Not only does he look the part, but the first trailer for ‘A Complete Unknown’ has revealed Timothee Chalamet sounds the part too.

The 28-year old actor already proved he can sing with his performance in last year’s musical extravaganza ‘Wonka’, but a new clip from his highly-anticipated Bob Dylan biopic proves he’s nailed the distinctive tone of the folk legend’s voice.

The trailer for James Mangold’s upcoming film sees Pete Seeger, played by Edward Norton, introduce the then-unknown Dylan to the stage to perform ‘A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall’, dressed in a brown suede jacket and sporting the star’s signature curly hair style.

As Chalamet-as-Dylan sings, footage flashes of him walking around New York City, making eye contact with Sylvie Russo – a fictional amalgamation of his early love interests played by Elle Fanning – and later kissing  Joan Baez (Monica Barbaro).

‘A Complete Unknown’ is due for release in January 2025.
