'Guten Tag babes': Adele announces 'Adele in Munich'
Adele has announced her first shows outside of her Las Vegas residency, which will mark the first time she has played a gig in mainland Europe since 2016.
Adele has announced her first new shows outside of her Las Vegas residency.
The 35-year-old superstar has been headlining 'Weekends With Adele' in Sin City on and off since November 2022 but that is expected to close in June this year and she has now announced four dates in Munich, Germany, which will take place in August in an open-air environment at Munich Messe that has been exclusively created for the concerts.
She wrote on Instagram: "A one off, bespoke pop-up stadium designed around whatever show I want to put on? I couldn’t think of a more wonderful way to spend my summer."
The 'Someone Like You' songstress has not played any mainland European dates since 2016 and last played in her native London when she headlined two nights at the BST in Hyde Park in 2022.
Just days ago, Adele - who has released four studio albums and received 16 Grammy Awards since beginning her career as a teenager - teased that another tour was on the way, but after releasing '30' in 2021 admitted that it will be quite a while until she writes another album.
She told the audience at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace on Saturday (27.01.24): “I just don’t think I’m gonna write an album for quite some time.
“But next time I do, I’ll come to wherever it is you live.”
Ticket registration for 'Adele in Munich' - which takes place on 2, 3, 9, and 10 August - is open now Adele.com and closes on Monday 5 February at 6PM CET.
