Camille Grammer blasts ex Kelsey Grammer as he allegedly forgets their daughter's birthday
Camille Grammer and Kelsey Grammer’s daughter, Mason, celebrated her 25th birthday on Saturday (24.10.26), but Camille claimed the Frasier star failed to call or text Mason on her special day.
A livid Camille Grammer has accused her ex-husband Kelsey Grammer of forgetting their daughter’s 25th birthday.
Taking to Instagram, the 58-year-old actress furiously hit out at the 71-year-old actor, revealing Mason had repeatedly checked her phone "all weekend" for a message from Kelsey on Saturday (24.10.26), but claimed he had still neither called nor sent a text three days later.
Camille shared a picture of her former spouse, who had put a clown emoji over his face, kissing Mason as a baby, as well as shots of her as a youngster enjoying a day at the beach.
She captioned the post: "A daughter should never have to wonder whether her father remembers her birthday. Three days later, and still not a call or a text.
"You can be a beloved actor to the world, but being a father is a role that requires showing up when the cameras are off. Fame, accolades, and public admiration mean very little if you neglect the people who should matter most.
"Some wounds come not from what is said, but from the silence.
"A mother never stops hurting when her child is hurt. 25 is a milestone birthday. Sometimes the silence is deafening, and the disappointment speaks volumes.
"Mason told me she kept checking her phone all weekend, hoping her father had called, even from an unfamiliar number or that his message had somehow ended up in her spam folder. She even checked there, searching for any sign that he had reached out. (sic)"
Camille also has son Jude, 22, with Kelsey, whom she split from in July 2010 after 13 years of marriage, just weeks before the Frasier star announced he was expecting a child with Kayte Walsh, whom Kelsey married in February 2011, two weeks after their divorce was finalised.
In the post’s comments section, Camille claimed Mason has "felt increasingly excluded from her father’s life and home".
She penned: "A stepmother should want to encourage a healthy, loving relationship between a father and his daughter.
"Sadly, from my perspective, that hasn’t been Mason’s experience. Instead, she has felt increasingly excluded from her father’s life and home.
"No matter the adult relationships involved, a daughter deserves to feel welcomed, respected, and loved - not pushed to the sidelines.
"A 25th birthday should be a celebration of love, not another reminder of the distance between a father and his child. (sic)"
In addition to Mason and Jude, Kelsey, who has not spoken to Camille in 14 years, has daughter Faith, 14, and sons Gabriel, 12, James, 10, and Christopher, 12 months, with Kayte.
The Cheers alum also has daughter Spencer, 43, with his 70-year-old ex-wife, actress Doreen Alderman, and daughter Greer, 34, with his former partner, hair stylist Barrie Buckner.
