Supermodel Paulina Porizkova has revealed she felt 'invisible" when she returned to the dating scene after her divorce - insisting women in their 50s are always "overlooked" even if they're famous.

The 61-year-old supermodel found herself single in her fifties after she split from her first husband Ric Ocasek in 2017 and she was expecting to be able to enjoy herself by going out on lots of dates - but Paulina has revealed she struggled to find any eligible men who were interested in her because they were all looking for younger women.
She told PEOPLE: "I was on [celebrity dating app] Raya for five years, and I got, I got maybe four hits. In five years! Older women are f****** invisible on Raya.
"If you want to find somebody, and you go out to events to meet people, if you are in your late 50s going out to parties, going to a bar, you’re going to totally get overlooked.
"I know people don’t believe me. They’re like: 'Oh, you’re Paulina Porizkova, how is that possible?' Well, you should just shadow me at a party and see how guys my age will just walk away and follow the 30-year-old to buy her a drink instead."
Paulina went on to add: "It was shocking to me, because [after the divorce], I was like: 'Oh, I’ll do a lot of dating.' And then I was like: 'Wait, but with who?'
"Because when I was dating before I met my [first] husband, I was an extremely popular date.
"So going from being the hottest girl in town to being an invisible 58-year-old was really shocking."
However, Paulina did eventually find love again with television writer Jeff Greenstein, who she married in Italy July.
The supermodel previously revealed many of their early dates took place over FaceTime and they went public with their romance in 2023 before Jeff proposed in July 2025.
Paulina was previously married to Cars star Ric, the father of her two sons, Jonathan, 32, and Oliver, 28, from 1989 until they separated in 2017.
Ric died a year later in 2019 aged 75.
Speaking about finding love again with Jeff, Paulina previously admitted he wasn't her usual type. She told Ageist.com: "I found a relationship that feels like I should have always had at 58.
"The perfect partner for me - unexpectedly. I wouldn’t say he was my type. He’s somebody I might have overlooked in the past ...
"He’s got good taste in music. That’s what attracted me."
