RJ Mitte’s ex-girlfriend has paid tribute to the Breaking Bad star following his tragic death.

The actor - who played Walter, Jr. in the beloved TV show - died on Monday (12.10.26) after taking his own life at the age of 34.

Now Saint Sasha, who dated RJ when they were teenagers, has remembered her former love, sharing throwback pictures of herself with RJ on her Instagram page.

She wrote alongside it: “I fell in love for the first time when I was 18. RJ was the first person to show me how a man is supposed to treat a woman.

“He was the first partner to build me up and make me feel unstoppable. He had one of the kindest and rarest hearts I’d ever had the privilege to experience and he was still a friend. I can’t believe this is real.

“Never in any lifetime could I forget him and how he made me feel. He was the first and last of his kind.”

She concluded: “Thank you for everything, endlessly, RJ. I love you, homie.”

Sasha’s tribute comes after Bryan Cranston, who played RJ’s on-screen dad in Breaking Bad, shared his own tribute, admitting he is in “deep despair” after his co-star’s death.

In a post on Instagram, Bryan wrote: "I’m in deep despair as I write this tonight. RJ Mitte, my sweet son on Breaking Bad has died.

"I met him when he was only 14 years old when he was cast as Walter White Jr., a part he played with such joy and enthusiasm.

"Born with Cerebral Palsy, he never - ever - allowed that challenge to be an excuse for anything. He met the demanding shooting schedule head on with great determination.

"Always listening to the advice that his TV parents (Anna Gunn and myself) gave him - but being a teenager, sometimes mischievously ignoring the counsel in order to learn the hard way … He was one of the stars of a hit TV show - but still a kid."

Bryan went on to praise RJ’s acting ability, as well as his philanthropic pursuits, and said he’d been in touch with the actor a “few weeks ago” trying to arrange a lunch.

He continued: “I don’t know if that lunch would have changed his future… But I do know that I loved him, and thoroughly enjoyed being with him throughout the years on the series, and after the spotlight on Breaking Bad dimmed …

"I’ll miss you, son. I can’t stop there without imploring anyone who is contemplating suicide to please call for the support you need at 988 Suicide Crisis Lifeline (https://988lifeline.org/). There is hope."
