Pete Davidson has recalled suffering concussions on a movie set.
Pete Davidson suffered two concussions in less than three weeks because he tried to perform his own stunts.
The 32-year-old actor has revealed that he suffered injuries while shooting stunts for a new indie movie.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Pete explained: "I got two concussions inside three weeks. Not good at all."
Asked how he suffered the injuries, Pete shared: "Well, I’m an idiot and I tried to do my own stunts."
The comedy star could've left the tricky scenes to a stunt double, but he was reluctant to go down that route.
He said: "It was an indie movie. And indie movie stunt doubles and big movie stunt doubles do not look the same. My stunt double, he was amazing, but he was like 6’6, huge and it was very obvious."
Pete subsequently joked about seeing a doctor to determine the severity of his injury.
The comedian quipped: "It’s a doctor and he just goes, ‘Mop, mirror, blanket, picnic.’ He says like eight words and I go, ‘What the hell is he doing?’ And then he goes, ‘Say it back.’ And I was like, ‘Um…’ And he was like, ‘Yeah, you have some brain damage'. It’s a very simple test."
Meanwhile, Pete recently admitted that his "priorities have shifted" since he's become a dad.
The movie star - who has nine-month-old daughter Scottie Rose with ex-girlfriend Elsie Hewitt - admitted that fatherhood has completely changed his life.
Speaking to E! News, Pete explained: "My priorities have shifted in just that becoming a dad is great for so many reasons, but it just made me realise the stuff that I cared about so much don't actually matter.
"Now the priority is if I don't get that whatever job or whatever, who cares? I get to be home with Scottie. That's awesome."
Pete believes fatherhood has had a meaningful influence on his general disposition.
He said: "It's calmed [me] down. My eagerness to like — I don't know — be out there very much. I'm just happy where I am."
