WWE star Danhausen eyes up 'dream' guest role on The Simpsons
WWE fan favourite Danhausen has revealed seeing himself animated in The Simpsons would be a "dream come true".
WWE superstar Danhausen is desperate to appear in The Simpsons.
The 36-year-old star, who debuted for the sports entertainment giant in February 2026 and has become one of wrestling's most recognisable names, is a huge fan of the iconic animated show, and he's setting his sights on a Springfield crossover.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Oh yes, that's the dream. So, we got to make that dream come true.
"Even if you wanna put Danhausen in a Treehouse of Horror [Halloween special] as a guest star, that would be great. Let's get it in there, let's put it out in the universe."
Conan O'Brien previously served as a writer on The Simpsons, and Danhausen has revealed in the past that the late night legend has influenced his demonic wrestler persona.
He admitted Conan is top of his list if he could use his on-screen closing machine to give a famous face a Danhausen twist.
He said: "Oh wow! You know, no surprise here, Danhausen’s a huge fan-hausen of Conan O'Brien's.
"So, if we could throw some type of red-haired thing inside of there and some Danhausen memorabilia, and Conan O'Brien-hausen could come out, that would be great!"
The crossovers don't start there, as the 'very nice, very evil' star compared emergence from a coffin at WWE Elimination Chamber to a children's TV staple.
He said: "It was quite spacious actually. Had to fit so many people in there. You saw... I like to think of Oscar the Grouch with his garbage can! He’s got a whole world in there."
When a crossover with Sesame Street or The Muppets was put forward, Danhausen was on board.
He raved: "Yes, oh God we gotta do that. Let's put that in the universe too."
A couple of months after his debut at Elimination Chamber, Danhausen had his first WrestleMania moment when he saved wrestler turned Hollywood star John Cena from a potential beat-down from The Miz and Kit Wilson, who he deliberately misnames as "Kip".
Teasing that he and Cena are a "couple of big celebrities", he quipped: "It took two months for Danhausen to have his own WrestleMania moment, and that is with John Cena himself and Kip Wilson.
"And you know who's celebrating their 20 years in WWE, The Miz! Miz got to share his 20th year with Danhausen, beating him up."
Danhausen comes to WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass season 5 from September 9. Also included in the premium tier are Hall of Famers Brie Bella and Bam Bam Bigelow, and AAA star Pagano, plus alternate versions of Randy Orton, Alexa Bliss and Drew McIntyre.
