Scary Movie's Anna Faris struggled to fit in with the moms of her son's friends
Scary Movie star Anna Faris has a son named Jack with her ex-husband, Chris Pratt.
Anna Faris struggled with fitting in the moms of her son's friends.
The 49-year-old actress feared that she was "doing something wrong" as a parent to her and her 47-year-old ex-husband, actor Chris Pratt's son, Jack.
She explained to E! News: "I didn't always feel like I fit in with the mothers of the parents of his friends. I always felt like I was kind of messing up somehow. I know I'm doing something wrong here."
Anna's worries have been eased by how well Jack, 13, is doing, and that he "knows a whole lot more than I thought he did".
The Scary Movie star added: "I am proud that he has a deep sense of justice, and I find him just fascinating."
Although Anna once questioned whether she was "fundamentally well suited to be a mom" as she felt she was "an older mom", the House Bunny alum feels "so lucky" to have "incredible, fascinating" Jack in her life.
She added: "I hope I'm doing OK."
Anna credited her Spa Weekend co-stars Leslie Mann, 54, Isla Fisher, 50, and Michelle Buteau, 49, with helping her build female friendships.
She said: "I was a person who's never found female friendship easy to cultivate. I feel I'm fundamentally awkward. And I got to spend so much time with these women that I love and I admire.
"It felt so special that I got to hug Isla and be like, 'Dude, we have each other's backs.'
"Michelle is just a pillar of a person, and Leslie is an incredible leader. She always does this outreach, and she supported us. She brought us all together."
In November 2025, Anna told how Jack has pushed her "out of [her] comfort zone".
The Mom cast member explained to Us Weekly: "I am really proud that I will go on any roller coaster or any water slide.
"I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone because of my love for my son so many times. I’m really proud of that, and I love it that he can count on me and I know that he sees that."
