Hilary Duff rushed daughter to ER hours before sold-out Madison Square Garden show
On Wednesday (05.08.26), Hilary Duff spent the morning in the ER with her five-year-old daughter Mae, who needed stitches for an unknown injury, before she performed the first of two sold-out Lucky Me Tour shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Mae, five, received stitches for an unknown injury before she and her siblings Luca, 14, Banks, seven, and Townes, two, joined the 38-year-old singer at the iconic arena that evening to watch her perform the first of two sold-out Lucky Me Tour shows in New York City.
Per People, Hilary told the crowd about the stressful start to their day, saying: "My kids are here tonight. I can’t believe I get to show them this. We were in the ER this morning getting some stitches for my five-year-old."
The Come Clean hitmaker assured fans that Mae was "fine".
Hilary said: "It’s all good. But it’s very ‘our family-coded’ that I would be playing my first show at MSG and also be in the emergency room getting my kid stitched up."
Speaking to Mae, she said: "Mae Mae, you’re very brave."
The Lizzie McGuire actress has Luca with her 45-year-old ex-husband, former ice hockey player Mike Comrie, and Banks, Mae, and Townes with her 39-year-old spouse, singer-and-DJ, Matthew Koma.
And Hilary has suggested she is "done" with having children because she struggled with a lot of pain during her last pregnancy and also found it hard to keep up with the needs of her other kids.
Appearing on a May episode of 34-year-old Kylie Kelce's Not Gonna Lie podcast, she said: "For me, by my third trimester of my fourth [pregnancy], in my body, for the first time, being pregnant was, like, in a lot of pain.
"I think my body was like, we don't need to do this again.
"I can't keep up with three kids and be as, like, active and running around with them and climbing up in the top bunk and down and, you know, on my feet all day. My body was like, we're done."
The A Cinderella Story star admitted she has never enjoyed being pregnant.
She said: "It's never been easy. No pregnancy, not a single one of my pregnancies have I ever just been like, ‘Oh my god, I love this!' I don't love it. I love the outcome of it. Hate being pregnant."
Hilary has a particular issue with "having something in my body".
She added: "It's crazy. And then what you're left with afterwards and how long that whole thing takes and the pressure on you."
The Younger alum noted it's "all worth it" in the end, but she's now enjoying feeling "like a person" again.
She said: "I think each time I've been pregnant and, kind of, gotten to the other side, and I don't mean that in a negative way, but just, like, where you're, like, feel like a person again and your clothes start to fit and all of that, you're like, oh, I recognise that thing, and that's happening to me right now."
