Kelly Osbourne asks ex Sid Wilson for ‘child support’ amid Slipknot controversy
Kelly Osbourne - who split from Sid Wilson, the father of her three-year-old son Sidney - earlier this year (26), has taken to her Instagram Stories to share what is believed to be a message directed at her former partner.
Kelly Osbourne has appeared to hit out at ex Sid Wilson, telling him to “take some responsibility” and also pay her “child support”.
Wilson has been hitting headlines in recent weeks following claims he had been “permanently kicked out of” Slipknot, although the band’s guitarist James ‘Jim’ Root urged fans not to “believe everything you read”.
Now Kelly - who split from Wilson, the father of her three-year-old son Sidney - earlier this year (26), has taken to her Instagram Stories to share what is believed to be a message directed at her former partner.
The first slide was somewhat cryptic, as Kelly wrote: “Strange how the loudest defence of the innocence is rarely innocence… it’s distraction. When the mask slips, they don’t face the mirror, they throw it at someone else. I also heard when you break a mirror, you get seven years bad luck. Or is that just karma? This is why I always take accountability! As they say, some are sicker than others.”
She continued: “Wake the f*** up, take some responsibility, I will not take your s*** anymore. I’m done. I want to be happy and I have a beautiful son to raise. Leave me alone, let me heal. I can’t protect you from yourself any more.”
In the next slide, Kelly didn’t hide her reference to Sid as she wrote: “Also while I’m at it can I have my dogs back and all my possessions? Oh yeah and maybe some child support?”
Kelly also shared a verse which read: “My job is to protect my kids. Not your feelings. Not your expectations. Not judgements i didn’t ask for. My responsibility is to protect their wellbeing. Their nervous systems. Their emotional safety. I will choose every single time. Over anyone. Over anything.”
She then posted another quote which said: “My son’s little heart once beat right beside mine. So trust me when I say… I will protect it at all costs.”
The report about Wilson being kicked out of Slipknot originally came from TMZ, who cited “a source close to the band and with direct knowledge”.
They added that “it’s currently unclear what led to him getting the boot”, but said Wilson had been “notified late Friday afternoon that he's been permanently kicked out of the band”.
Following the TMZ report, Slipknot guitarist Root took to his instagram Stories to apparently address the rumour.
In his post, set to the tune of Slipknot’s 2008 tune Til We Die, he wrote: “Don’t believe everything you read. “Stop. Think. Take a breath. Sit with it for awhile. Maybe. Just maybe even wait until there’s more information.”
Wilson joined Slipknot in 1998, shortly before the band released their self-titled debut album. None of the other remaining members of the group - including Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan and singer Corey Taylor - have responded to the TMZ story.
Slipknot last performed live at the Inkcarceration music and tattoo festival in Ohio in July 2025.
