The Australian actor died on July 13, with his famous pals lining up to pay tribute in the weeks following his untimely passing aged 78.
Now Nicole - who starred alongside Sam in Dead Calm - and Laura, who famously acted opposite Sam in Jurassic Park, have remembered their mate, by tucking into a bottle of his wine together.
Laura shared the picture on her Instagram Stories, writing over the top: “Raising a glass to our beloved friend and leading man, Sam.
“Just the way he would want, toasting with his gorgeous Pinot.”
The bottle of wine was from Two Paddocks - the wine company Sam founded back in 1993.
Both Laura and Nicole - who starred together in HBO series Big Little Lies - smiled as the photos was taken.
Their tribute comes after Nicole released a statement to the Sydney Morning Herald in the light of Sam’s death, which read: “Sam was one of the greats, a joy to be around.
“We met when I was just 18 and he took me under his wing and we stayed friends for life. He was charming, kind, funny and intelligent. He will be greatly missed, and my heart goes out to his family.”
It comes after Sam’s agent hit out at “outright falsehoods" in reports around his death.
In a statement to USA Today and others, Grenz confirmed he died of pneumonia, and added: "Prior to becoming sick, Sam had valiantly fought and beaten lymphoma through a new treatment called CAR-T therapy."
Grenz also revealed Neill's family will be holding a "private" memorial rather than any kind of public service.
Sam's death was announced by his family in a statement posted on his social media account. They said: "It is with immense sadness that the whanau [family] of Sam Neill share the news of his passing on Monday 13th July, in Sydney Australia. "Sam was surrounded by family and passed with the dignity that has characterised his whole life. "The loss was sudden and unexpected but blessed by the fact that Sam remained cancer free."
Neill's loved ones voiced their "deepest gratitude" to the medical staff who cared for him, and promised "more details will be shared" at a later date.
The post continued: "They would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at St Vincent’s Private Hospital for their incredible care.
"More details will be shared later, but for now, on behalf of the family, we ask that you respect their privacy as they navigate this immeasurable loss."
