Ian Bohen has recalled the nasty injury from a cow while filming Yellowstone.

Jennifer Landon, who played ranch hand Teeter in Paramount Network's neo-Western drama, told how the actor both 42, who portrayed cowboy wrangler Ryan, was "on the back end" of a cow during a scene that depicted "pretty big" cattle being branded.
During the Yellowstone Bunkhouse Reunion Panel at the Fanboy Expo Knoxville, Tennessee, on July 10, she revealed: "That cow kind of got itself moving and he got kicked in the face.
"And if he wasn’t such a tremendous athlete, I’m telling you, you wouldn’t have a face."
Jennifer added: "He was bleeding and everyone was laughing, even he was laughing. It was like, 'Oh, wow, that was a close call.'"
Ian - who was in Yellowstone from when it started in 2018 until the end of its five season run in 2024 - insisted that he was not laughing.
The entertainer said: "I went down instantly. Just back, straight back."
Jennifer - who joined the show during its third series in 2020, and stayed until the programme's end in 2024 admitted she was "sobbing".
The actress remembered: "I suddenly was like, ‘I’m a girl. This is not fun anymore. Laughing at injury is not OK.'"
In 2024, Jennifer admitted her managers lied to the programme's creators, Taylor Sheridan and John Linson, claiming that she was a "professional" when it came to riding horses.
Appearing on an episode of CBS Sunday Morning that year, she said: "I haven't been on a horse since I was about seven years old, but I can trot.
"And they went, 'OK, we're going to tell them that you're a professional.
"So I guess that lie worked, and then we had to deal with the problem down the road."
But Jennifer - whose dad is the late Bonanza actor Michael Landon - said Yellowstone gave her the opportunity to work towards being a more experienced horse rider.
She added: "I've gotten to the place where I can rope a cow at a dead standstill, and I can rope a dummy cow being pulled by a gator off the horse."
