Kim Kardashian has paid tribute to her grandmother MJ following her death aged 91.
The reality star’s mom Kris Jenner took to Instagram on Thursday (16.07.26) to share the tragic news of her mother’s passing, with Kim posting her own lengthy tribute to her beloved grandparent on her own Instagram page.
Alongside a series of photos of herself and her kids with MJ, Kim began: “My sweet Grandma MJ, my best friend, my gossip buddy, my forever twin...
“You taught all of us the importance of family, and those values are something we’ll carry with us forever!!!!! You were the woman who showed me what it meant to be a hardworking businesswoman. “
Kim praised MJ for teaching her about “work ethic, strength and confidence” after landing her a job at her store in San Diego.
She continued: “You always believed in me, championed me, and were my safe place. You truly were the matriarch of our family, and your love is woven into all of us.”
Kim asked MJ to give hugs to “Papa Harry, Aunt Karen” and her dad, as she added: “You will always be a part of me, I love you soooooo much and I will miss you forever and ever. YOU ARE THE BEST OF US!!!
“I know you are up in heaven, looking at all of our Instagram posts of you from your sneaky finsta account you would always use lol.”
Kris had earlier paid tribute to her mom, writing: ““Every memory, every moment, every blessing, it was all because of you, and I will forever thank God every single day for making you my mommy.”
“My heart is broken into a million pieces… thank you for giving me the greatest childhood and oh what a beautiful blessed life… I love you forever Mommy. Thank you for giving us everything.”
MJ had a close relationship with Kris and her children, and regularly made appearances on the family’s reality TV series.
In the comments section of Kim’s post, people were quick to offer their sympathy and condolences.
One wrote: “Loved MJ so much. Sending you so much love and light. She is now resting with the kings of all kings. Love you guys so much.”
Khloe also commented, but kept things simple by just writing numerous red love heart emojis.
