Chloe Bailey waited to confront cheating ex until after her 'night of cuddles'
Chloe Bailey appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast, and recalled how she discovered her former partner was being unfaithful after receiving information from fans.
Chloe Bailey waited until the morning to confront an ex about his cheating because she “still wanted my night of cuddles”.
The singer appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast, and recalled how she discovered her former partner was being unfaithful after receiving information from fans.
She also found an eyelash extension and a hair tie that she knew weren’t hers.
Asked how she felt following the latter discovery, Chloe replied: “I kept it internal, and I took a picture of it, and I texted my godmother. She's like my voice of reason."
However, instead of immediately questioning her man about the items, she decided to wait until the following morning.
She said: “I peeped it and I kept it quiet till the next morning, and then I walked in the bathroom like it was brand new. I still wanted my night of cuddles.
“I’m that toxic!”
When Chloe did get around to confronting him the next day, he denied cheating on her.
Chloe was also asked if she’s ever been unfaithful to a partner herself, to which she replied: “Depends on what your definition of cheating is. My definition is like, I'll just start responding to people I never responded [to]."
Elsewhere in the podcast interview, Chloe - who can soon be seen starring in psychological thriller Strung - opened up about how she and sister Halle cope with being constantly compared to each other.
She mused: “It hurt us sometimes when we'd see certain comments. We'd talk to each other like, 'Oh my gosh. Is this true about me?' We'd be like, 'No it's not.' We'd have to uplift each other.
“That's the beauty of us. We're like fire and water."
She and Halle - who is most famous for playing Ariel in the live action remake of The Little Mermaid - also supported each other when they started out in the industry as singing duo Chloe x Halle.
She said: “We clung so tight to each other and we weren't alone. We weren't going through criticism, even the positivity, alone.
“We were rejoicing together and we had a partner to celebrate with and even cry with.”
Chloe previously called Halle her “security blanket” telling People as she supported her sibling at the premiere of her recent Netflix film You, Me Tuscany: “Sis and I, we started doing everything together, so we're each other's safety blanket.
“I was so happy to be there at the screening in L.A. to support her for her incredible rom-com.
“It's so fun to see how we're both doing our thing and killing it equally, and also, it just makes when we come together that much more special.”
