Brooklyn Beckham slams 'choreographed' visit from sister Harper
Brooklyn Beckham has accused Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham of "choreographing" his 14-year-old daughter Harper's unsuccessful visit to his house.
Brooklyn Beckham has accused Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham of "choreographing" their daughter's visit to his house.
The 27-year-old chef - who is estranged from his famous family - and wife Nicola Peltz Beckham have hit out after his 14-year-old sister Harper was pictured arriving at his house in Los Angeles in an SUV on Friday (12.06.26), insisting the circumstances surrounding her trip raised questions.
Photos obtained by PageSix.com showed her approaching the house in the same pink outfit she had worn to see her dad awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame earlier in the day, but she left seconds later without seeing the couple, who it later emerged were in New York.
Representatives for the couple said in a statement: "[The fact] that photographers were in place as the letter was hand delivered says it all - this was choreographed for the cameras."
Beckham family insiders have slammed the "nasty accusation".
A friend told the Daily Mail online: "It is incredibly sad that this horrible accusation is being levelled at an innocent young girl who just desperately misses her brother.
"Nothing needed to be said at all so to invent this nasty accusation is really unnecessary."
Brooklyn sent shockwaves around the world in January when he issued a strongly-worded statement on Instagram in which he insisted he “not want to reconcile” with his parents and accused them of attempting to control the public narrative surrounding their family’s every movement.
Brooklyn said at the time in his lengthy statement: “I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private.”
He added: “Unfortunately my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.”
Brooklyn continued: “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”
He later alleged his mother behaved “in an inappropriate way” during his wedding celebrations with Nicola in 2022, further fuelling reports of tensions between Nicola and Victoria that had circulated since the ceremony in Florida.
David refused to talk about the feud in an interview with Variety to coincide with his Walk of Fame star.
The 51-year-old former footballer was asked how he deals with the “vicious” media coverage about the “strife” in his family, and he replied: “To be honest, I'm sorry to stop you there, but that's a private matter.
“That's the one thing that I don't want to talk about."
As well as Harper, David was joined by wife Victoria and their two other sons, Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 21, at the ceremony.
