Maluma to be a dad again
Maluma's girlfriend, Susana Gomez, is pregnant with their second child.
Maluma is to be a father for the second time.
The 32-year-old musician - whose real name is Juan Luis Londoño Arias - and girlfriend Susana Gomez are expecting another baby, a sibling for their two-year-old daughter Paris.
Maluma announced the news on Instagram on Sunday (10.05.26), sharing a photo of himself and Paris kissing Susana's growing baby bump.
And he may have hinted they are expecting a little boy because he captioned the photo simply with a blue heart emoji.
The Don Juan singer has previously spoken of how "everything changed" when he became a father to Paris, and explained how parenthood has given him a drive to "conquer the world" to set a good example to his little girl.
Asked how his life is different now, he told Allure: "Everything changed. And I love it. Now, I wake up every day with the desire to conquer the world. I know I have to f****** kill it. For Paris, nothing is impossible. You have to lead by example. I go to bed every night that I can at 9 and wake up at 5:30 to hit the gym because I want to be healthy. You want to live forever for your kids. I want to make her proud."
The Hawái hitmaker - who shot to fame in 2011 with his hit single Farandulera and the debut of his album Magia - also noted that while the "essence" of his image of a bad boy on stage still remains to some extent, he is "more mature" since becoming a dad and is managing to find the balance between his public persona and family life, even though it can be "difficult" at times.
He said: "It's still the same essence, but more mature I would say, and more chill. I'm just vibing. I'm having fun being with my family, but I’m also having fun being onstage. I’m doing things that I love, and finally, I feel like I'm on the right path. It's difficult to find that balance, but I'm there. I'm there and working for it."
Maluma and Susana revealed they were expecting their first child in his October 2023 music video Procura, and later announced their daughter's birth on Instagram.
Maluma wrote on Instagram in Spanish at the time: "On March 9th at 8:23 A.M. the love of our lives Paris Londoño Gomez was born. Thank you all for your birthday messages and well wishes.
"Susana.. Love: Thank you for fulfilling my biggest dream of being a Father, I will never forget that moment. I love them.”
