Jake Paul feels "proud" of Olivia Rodrigo.

The 23-year-old pop star recently joked about Jake's boxing career during her Saturday Night Live monologue, and Jake has now taken to social media to respond to Olivia's comments, insisting that he's proud of his former Bizaardvark co-star.

Jake, 29 - who starred on Bizaardvark between 2016 and 2018 - wrote on X: "We had the vision [laughing emoji] i told you that you would sell stadiums out and then we both did. proud of you fr (sic)"

Prior to that, Olivia poked fun at Jake's boxing career, which has seen him fight the likes of Mike Tyson and Tommy Fury, the brother of former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

The brunette beauty - who is one of the world's best-selling pop stars - said on Saturday Night Live: "We had an incredible cast, which included acting legend Jake Paul.

"We'd always talk about our futures, me and Jake. I'd say, ‘I really want to create music that explores the complexities of girls my age,' and he'd say, ‘Well, one day, I really want to beat up old guys on Netflix.' And we both did it — hooray!"

Olivia became a global star amid the COVID-19 lockdown, and she previously suggested that the unique circumstances helped her to cope with the extra attention.

The pop star observed that lockdown kept her "out of the hullabaloo".

Speaking to the BBC, Olivia explained: "It helped me keep my sanity when there was so much drama going on. Being in isolation with people I loved and cared about kept me out of the hullabaloo."

Olivia released her Sour album back in 2021, and she believes lockdown actually helped to speed-up the release of her breakthrough record.

The singer - who also starred in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series - said: "Had I been going to press junkets, and performing on late night [TV], I wouldn't have had the confidence in writing the record that I did."
