Demi Lovato's marriage to Jutes is full of "laughter" and the relationship brings her "so much joy".
The 33-year-old Skyscraper star has opened up about her first year of married life as she prepares to celebrate her first wedding anniversary with her husband in May and she's revealed she's "happier than ever" almost a year after tying the knot.
Demi told Heat magazine: "I am having so much fun. We laugh non-stop. Like, we stay up late crying tears from laughing so hard and we just have so much fun together. I wouldn’t say that it feels like work, you know, it just feels like a really loving, supportive partnership, that brings me so much joy ...
"I couldn’t be happier."
Demi also reflected on her big day - which took place by the ocean in Santa Barbara, California - admitting she was "so stressed" about all the planning but everything went perfectly in the end.
She added: "It was the best day of my life. It was a lot of planning and a lot of work, but we had an incredible wedding.
"I was so stressed before with all the planning and I was so nervous about messing up my vows or something going wrong on the day, but it was fine.
"It really wasn’t anything like the stress I thought it would be. It was pretty perfect, actually."
It comes after it was revealed the couple will be spending their first wedding anniversary apart on the road as they are both busy on tour.
Demi kicked off her run of dates in the US earlier this month while Sleepyhead singer Jutes is playing across Europe next month, before hitting North America in August.
Speaking to E! News, Jutes - real name Jordan Lutes - said: "It’s one of those things where we get sad when we talk about it.
"So we’re like: 'We won’t think about it yet.’ It’s gonna be tough, there’s no way around that."
Jutes went on to insist he's keen to make sure the scheduling conflict doesn't happen again. Admitting it "really sucks", he added: “We’re just gonna pretend. As soon as tour is over and we’re together, we’re gonna celebrate and that’ll be awesome.
"It’s part of the job and we’ll just have to FaceTime a ton and figure it out. We’ll get through it."
