Calvin Harris is reportedly creating his own plush estate in the Cotswolds.

The DJ and his wife, BBC Radio 1 DJ Vick Hope, 36, already own a pad near to an idyllic village in the region in South-Central England - already home to the likes of Victoria Beckham, 51, and David Beckham, 50, and Ellen DeGeneres, 67, and 52 year old Portia de Rossi - and have splashed out thousands on refurbishing it.

But now it has been claimed that the pair have snapped up the two houses next door to their property - with all three residences totting up to just short of £9 million to buy - so they can transform them into their dream homes.

A source told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: "Calvin is building a super-mansion for him and Vick, but he’s also doing major work to two other places he’s bought.

"One property is next door, and he’s got a team who are going to be completely renovating that. The other house is going to be demolished.

"Calvin has plans to turn that place into a four-bedroom house, complete with a music studio and a granny annex."

It is understood that the "big main house" will be used as their base, while the second house will be used as a place for Calvin, 41, to decamp while working.

And being eco-friendly is at the heart of his and Vick's plans.

The source added: "Calvin and Vick made it clear they want their properties to have little impact on the environment around them.

"So everything has been designed with biodiversity in mind, as well as making sure that they’re in keeping with the local area.

"When it’s all finished, the estate will be absolutely huge."

It could be suggested that Calvin - who married Vick in a breathtaking outdoor ceremony at Hulne Priory in Alnwick, Northumberland, North East England in 2023 - was inspired by his pal, singer Ed Sheeran, 34, to create an estate.

Ed's lavish Sheeranville estate boasts amenities including a swimming pool, a two-storey treehouse, a pub and a chapel - in Suffolk, East England, with wife Cherry Seaborn, 33, and their daughters Lyra, five, and three-year-old Jupiter.

In September, it was reported that the Castle on the Hill hitmaker splurged £1 million on a farm and its adjoining land nearby, which he plans to transform into an entertaining space and recording studio.
