Una Healy presented restaurateur Oisin Rogers with the Outstanding Contribution to Hospitality prize at the Irish Post Awards.

The Saturdays singer, 44, hailed "those who love the Irish" as she presented the gong at London's Grosvenor House Hotel on Thursday (27.11.25) evening – where over 1,000 guests attended the ceremony honouring the achievements of Irish talent in the UK.

Una said: "There are over a thousand Irish people here tonight, or those who love the Irish."

Oisin has been based in London for over 30 years and has run some of the city's most well-known pubs and restaurants, including The Ship in Wandsworth and the Guinea Grill in Mayfair.

He is currently landlord at The Devonshire pub and restaurant in Soho – which has proved a hit since opening in November 2023 and has hosted Ed Sheeran, Margot Robbie and Bono.

In his acceptance speech, Rogers delivered an emotional thank you to those who have helped him along the way – including the ceremony's host Ryan Tubridy.

He said: "There is someone at every table who has supported us on this journey.

"I must pay tribute to my wife Tracey and my family for supporting me through all of this. I'd also like to thank Ryan Tubridy, who's been a great supporter of The Devonshire all the way through."

Elsewhere, the final award of the evening was presented to filmmaker Jim Sheridan, who was described by actor Colm Meaney as one of "the most successful Irish directors of all time".

After being greeted by rapturous applause, the 76-year-old director quipped: "Get a thousand people in a room and get them to be quiet if they're Irish... try that one!"

The My Left Foot filmmaker then paid tribute to the women who have played important roles in his life.

Sheridan said: "I wouldn't be here without my granny, who died giving birth to my mother.

"So I stand here in the name of Irish women, in the name of my dead wife Fran, my partner Zara, and my daughters in America, all celebrating Thanksgiving. So let's give thanks for being Irish."
