Selena Gomez's wedding dress contained a special tribute to Benny Blanco.

The 33-year-old singer and actress got married to the 37-year-old producer over the weekend, and she wore a white lace halter neck gown designed by Ralph Lauren.

According to the fashion icon, the dress - which featured "300 hand-shaped and applied lace flowers" also referenced the newlyweds' initials in the design.

Ralph Lauren posted on Instagram: "A custom silk lace dress featuring 300 hand-shaped and applied lace flowers and crystal embellishments on a hand-painted corset, embroidered with an inscription of the couple's initials and wedding date."

Meanwhile, Benny paid tribute to Selena with his custom wedding ring, which was created by luxury jeweller Jacob + Co.

The company made the one-of-a-kind 18-carat gold wedding ring, which featured the couple's wedding date engraved on the inside, with a 0.03 carat round pave ruby and a similar-sized pave aquamarine - Selena and Benny's birthstones respectively - also on the inside of the band.

The firm also created a watch and bracelet for Benny to wear on the big day.

Jacob + Co. CEO Benjamin Arabov said in a statement: “Jewellery tells a story, and with these bespoke creations, we wanted to capture Benny and Selena’s love in its purest form.

“Every detail down to the choice of stones, was meant to honour their journey and create heirlooms that will last forever. We are proud to be part of this journey.”

Among those expected to be in attendance for the wedding were Taylor Swift, Paris Hilton, Ed Sheeran, and Selena's Only Murders in the Building co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short.

The happy couple both wore Ralph Lauren, with Benny in a black tuxedo and his new wide in a white dress with a halter-style bodice, floral detailing and an open back.

Although the pair were friends long before they got romantically involved, the brunette beauty doesn't think she'd have been "mature enough" to have dated Benny until the last few years.

She told Allure: "I don't think I would have been remotely mature enough.

"It's weird to think that only five years ago I wouldn't have been in the right place, but I’ve learned so many lessons [since then] that led me to being the best partner I could be for Benny. And I believe the same with him.

"He'll say, ‘Gosh, why did we waste so much time?’ And I always say, ‘You wouldn't have liked me back then.’ I was all over the place."
