Blake Lively may have the “stronger case” in her legal battle against Justin Baldoni.

Attorney Dina Doll, has weighed in on the actress’ bitter “harassment” fight with the director in the new documentary ‘Dispute: Lively vs. Baldoni’, which aired on Monday (31.03.25) night and streams on Max – with the show conducting a deep-dive into the legal drama between the co-stars of ‘It Ends With Us’.

It was billed as offering a detailed examination through interviews with reporters, intimacy coordinators, public relations professionals and legal analysts.

Neither party’s lawyers participated in the documentary – but Dina Doll, a legal expert featured in ‘Dispute’, shared her opinion on the case on the show.

She said: “My professional opinion, Blake Lively has the stronger case – because all of Justin Baldoni’s arguments about fame and control don’t really refute her claim of sexual harassment.”

Ms Doll pointed to specific allegations in Blake’s lawsuit, such as the “improvising of kissing, the describing his genitalia, talking about pornography”, which she believes provide a solid foundation for a claim of sexual harassment, regardless of the setting.

She added: “Those seem to be pretty strong basis for a claim of sexual harassment.”

The documentary also touches on the conflicting accounts of the two parties.

While Blake claims sexual harassment occurred on the set of ‘It Ends With Us’, Justin has countered the encounters were more consensual.

According to Ms Doll, Justin’s defence does not dispute the events but argues they were not as one-sided as Blake suggests.

In December 2024, the actress’ allegations against Justin were made public through a New York Times report, which led to a strong response from the filmmaker’s legal team.

His lawyer, Bryan Freedman, called the allegations “completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious”.

Blake was also accused of attempting to harm Justin’s reputation.

He has filed a $400 million lawsuit against Blake and her actor husband, Ryan Reynolds, for defamation and extortion – alleging the couple used their influence to derail his career.

Blake’s legal team has labelled the lawsuit “baseless”.

This month, Justin’s lawyer continued to respond aggressively on the case, stating Blake’s claims would be debunked during discovery.

He said: “Her fantastical claims will be swiftly debunked as discovery moves forward.”

Mr Freedman added Blake would be “held accountable for her actions of pure malice”.
