Elon Musk's eldest daughter found out about her new half-sibling online.
Conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair claimed a few days ago she had given birth to the Space X founder's 13th child five months ago and 21-year-old Vivian Wilson - who the tech mogul has with ex-wife Justine - has joked it isn't the first time she hasn't been told directly what is happening in her father's personal life.
She wrote on a post shared to TikTok: "Wow, if I had a nickel for every time I found out I had half-siblings through Reddit, I’d have two nickels… which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it’s happened twice, right."
Vivian, who changed her name in 2022 to reflect her trans identity and to distance herself from her father, later alleged she had found out about half of her siblings online.
She said in a similar post on Threads: "...I’d have a few nickels- which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened SIX SEPARATE TIMES.”
The following day, Vivian explained how she only learned of the existence of her half-brother Techno Mechanicus - the 53-year-old Tesla CEO's third child with ex-girlfriend Grimes - over a year after he was born, via Reddit.
She said on TikTok: "I found out about the existence of my half-brother through reddit.com/r/rupaulsdragrace.
"This is a real thing that actually happened to me.
"And if it sounds insane, it is.
"The year is 2022, and at the time, me and Grimes - or as I know her C - are not talking.
"We're not on bad terms or anything, we're just not talking as people do.
"And the specific day of, I didn't have anything to do, so I was just scrolling on Reddit, and I'm a huge fan of 'Drag Race', so naturally, I was on the 'Drag Race' subreddit.
"And what do I come across but none other than a tweet from season two and all-stars two contestant Tatiana.
"I found this tweet that was cross-posted onto the subreddit, and I had no idea of this at the time because no one thought to let me know.
"So, at the moment, I'm in just in complete shock, and I don't believe it.
"So I double-check it on the news, and it turns out it's actually f****** true, and I'm just the last one to find out about it ...
"It kind of makes sense how this happened because, again, we were not really talking at the time, and I just think it's funny because choices."
Taking to X on February 15, Ashley dropped her bombshell claim about having Elon's baby.
She said in a statement: "Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world.
"Elon Musk is the father.
"I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child's privacy and safety, but in recent days, it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause.
"I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment.
"For that reason, I ask that the media honour our child's privacy, and refrain from invasive reporting (sic)."
