Bam Margera is back behind bars after he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI).

The former 'Jackass' star, 44, was stopped by police in Pennsylvania on September 16 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and summary reckless driving - and he is set to spend the weekend (21-22.0924) at the Chester County Prison ahead of a court hearing on Monday (23.09.24) to determined whether he has violated his probation.

He was taken into custody on Wednesday (18.09.24) following a meeting with officials who flagged a possible probation violation.

The hearing on Monday will decide whether Margera breached the terms of a plea deal he reached with Pennsylvania prosecutors in June in which he pleaded guilty to two counts of disorderly conduct and was sentenced to six months probation. He also agreed to undergo random drug tests and treatment for his mental health issues.

The conviction stemmed from a bust-up with his musician brother Jess Margera at his Castle Bam home in Chester County, Pennsylvania, in April 2023.

After entering his guilty plea, Margera told the court: "I just want to says thanks for this whole situation. It lets me clean up my life. It is a blessing in disguise."

As well as the probation hearing on Monday, Margera will also face a pretrial hearing stemming from the DUI case but a date has yet to be set, according to Mainlinemedianews.com.

Speaking after the conclusion of his disorderly conduct case, Margera told ABC 6's Action News: "I needed that to realise I would go on drinking benders and I would end up in situations that were really not good."

The TV star - who married his fiancee Dannii Marie in New Mexico in May - had been due to mark one year of sobriety in August and he previously credited his partner with helping him turn his life around.

In a video of his wedding vows, Margera was seen telling his bride: "You got rid of all the d***heads and goons and made me stop drinking and got me back to skateboarding and I cannot thank you enough."
