Bobby Bones thinks he's the "greatest champion" in the history of 'Dancing with the Stars'.

The 44-year-old DJ lifted the 'Dancing with the Stars' crown back in 2018, and although Bobby acknowledges the he wasn't the best dancer on the show, he's insisted that he was still a worthy winner.

Bobby - who danced on the show alongside Sharna Burgess - said in an Instagram video: "I was the worst dancer. I take pride in that.

"Now, I tried as hard as anybody in the history of the show, but I can't dance now, couldn't dance then.

"But you know who took down the big evil empire of dance? Well, it's not evil or an empire, but me and you! We did it together."

Bobby acknowledged that his fans propelled him to success on the hit TV show.

He said: "I'm the greatest champion ever. I didn't say I was the greatest dancer, but the greatest champion ever.

"I'm the man of the people. I'm the man that you guys selected."

Bobby also noted that his success actually prompted the show to change its rules.

He reflected: "I’m a terrible dancer, I was a terrible dancer but they changed the rules after I left because the fan vote was so good."

Bobby took to social media shortly after Julianne Hough questioned his success in 2018.

The 36-year-old star - who didn't actually appear on season 27 of the show - admitted that she strongly disagreed with the decision to crown Bobby as the winner of the series.

During an appearance on 'Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen', Julianne said: "I think it's because of the fan base. It's all about fan base on that show. He was not the best dancer."
