Courteney Cox’s daughter has joked it was “very rude” of her famous mother not to have saved her any clothes from her ‘Friends’ wardrobe.

The actress, 60, became a style icon in the ’90s thanks to the outfits she sported playing neurotic Monica Geller in NBC’s sitcom phenomenon from 1994 to 2004, and her 20-year-old girl Coco Arquette – who Courteney had with her 52-year-old actor ex-husband David Arquette – has now opened up about her disappointment she will never get to try the clothes her mum sported on the show.

She told Refinery29: “Fun fact – she didn’t save anything for me from the ’90s.

“It’s actually very rude.

“Everyone’s like, ‘Oh those outfits’. (But) no, I don’t have them.”

Courteney, who was interviewed alongside her daughter for the feature, nodded in agreement – with the pair also admitting the actress’ current closet was still worth raiding.

When asked who between the two of them is more likely to take something from the other’s wardrobe and not give it back, Coco was quick to admit she was guilty of nabbing clothes.

She said: “Me. 100 percent without a question. Quickly answered.”

Even though she joking said she was devastated she wouldn’t get to try her mum’s ’90s clothes, there is one of her mother’s red carpet looks Coco did manage to get her hands on from the decade.

It was a slightly sheer, embroidered dress Courteney sported at a showing of 1998’s ‘Snake Eyes’ film starring Nicolas Cage.

Courteney said about the piece in an Instagram post about the dress that showed her side-by-side with her daughter: “I’m not one to hold onto things. But this was a damn good purchase! 21 years later… .”
