The 31-year-old model-turned-actress has learned a lot about music from her girlfriend Minke - whose real name is Leah Mason - but her partner was horrified when they had a backstage brush with the 'Born in the USA' hitmaker and she didn't appreciate being in the presence of a legend.

She told the Sunday Times magazine: “Leah likes old rock, Fleetwood Mac, whereas I like R+B and old-school hip-hop, like the Notorious BIG.

“And I love the wave of lesbians in music now, like Chappell Roan and Reneé Rapp.

“We teach each other so many things. Two years ago we were backstage at Glastonbury and we took a photo with this guy.

" I said to Leah afterwards, who was that? She was like, ‘What? That was Bruce Springsteen!’ I had no idea what he looked like. She thinks that’s blasphemy.”

While Cara and her partner love music and regularly attend gigs together, the former 'Only Murders in the Building' actress has yet to see her dream show of another Spice Girls reunion.

She admitted: “I pestered Victoria Beckham about it once at Glastonbury. She was like, ‘Please stop talking to me about that.’ ”

Although the 'Carnival Row' star is very happy with Minke, she insisted marriage isn't a priority but she would love to have children one day.

She said: “I think I’m the type of gay who feels a bit annoyed about marriage — why do we have to fit into this very old idea of signing a contract?

"I prefer the idea of a spiritual union. The priority for me is the relationship. But if marriage comes along with that, that’s fine.

"I would love a family for sure.”

Cara has previously dated the likes of Ashley Benson and St. Vincent and she admitted Minke being British has helped their relationship.

Asked if it makes a difference to be dating a fellow Brit, she replied: “Yes, I don’t know why but it does. There’s a familiarity to it, she understands.”

But the couple have no plans to move back to the UK.

Cara said: “Probably not, I love being in America.

"But I also love travelling around. I love, love, love change.”
