Brittany Cartwright has urged fans to stop speculating about her son's wellbeing.

The 35-year-old TV star has taken to social media to defend her son from criticism, describing him as "perfect and innocent".

Brittany - who has Cruz, three, with her estranged husband Jax Taylor - wrote on Instagram: "You guys can reel in the drama of my life I don’t care but leave my innocents sons name out of it!!! Don’t act like you know anything about him watching 30 mins of a show recorded last summer. I do everything I possibly can for him so how dare some of you!? ENOUGH he is a perfect and innocent child and I will not have strangers acting like they know what’s going on in his life. Talk about me talk about his father I don’t care but enough is enough!!!!!! (sic)"

Brittany and Jax announced their split earlier this year.

However, the reality star recently admitted that a reconciliation remains possible.

Brittany - who has been married to Jax since 2019 - told Us Weekly: "There’s definitely a chance. But I won’t waste my time and get back into a toxic situation.

"Now the veil has been lifted and I see how much I was always cleaning up Jax’s messes. I’m thrown in the middle of all these fights and constantly forced to apologize for him in the media and to friends. It’s hard."

Brittany feels she doesn't need Jax in order to thrive.

She shared: "I feel really strong.

"At the beginning, I was freaking out. I came to Los Angeles for Jax and we moved in together immediately, so I’ve never been here by myself. But now I have my own friends and my own money."
