Lizzo lawsuit dancers call 'quit' post a 'childish tantrum'
Three dancers who are suing Lizzo for sexual harassment have released a statement through their lawyer condemning the singer's social media announcement which suggested she is quitting the music industry.

The 35-year-old pop star mad headlines last week when she took to social media to suggest she is walking away from her career because she's "tired of getting dragged by everyone" - but Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez have now released a statement through their lawyer condemning the stunt.
Attorney Ron Zambrano said: "It's a joke that Lizzo would say she is being bullied by the internet when she should instead be taking an honest look at herself.
"Her latest post is just another outburst seeking attention and trying to deflect from her own failings as she continues to blame everyone else for the predicament she is in. Lizzo's legal and public relations strategy is a failure, so she is desperately trying to play the victim ...
"[She has] thrown these childish tantrums before. No one actually believes she is quitting music."
It comes just days after Lizzo took to Instagram to write: "I'm getting tired of putting up with being dragged by everyone in my life and on the internet.
"All I want is to make music and make people happy and help the world be a little better than how I found it. But I'm starting to feel like the world doesn't want me in it.
"I'm constantly up against lies being told about me for clout and views ... being the butt of the joke every single time because of how I look.
"My character being picked apart by people who don't know me and disrespecting my name. I didn't sign up for this. I quit."
Backing dancers Arianna, Crystal, and Noelle are currently in the middle of a legal battle with the star - suing her for sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment.
They have made a series of allegations against Lizzo, her production company, Big Grrrl Big Touring, Inc.; and dance team captain, Shirlene Quigley, including that they were pressured by the singer into touching nude performers while at a club in Amsterdam, forced to endure weight shaming and a hostile work environment.
Lizzo - whose real name is Melissa Jefferson - denied the accusations, saying that they were as "unbelievable as they sound".
She said in a statement in August: "My work ethic, morals and respectfulness have been questioned. My character has been criticised."
Lizzo added that it was never her “intention to make anyone feel uncomfortable or like they aren’t valued as an important part of the team".
