Marilyn Manson has completed his community service.

The 55-year-old rock star pleaded no contest when accused of blowing his nose on a female camera operator at a New Hampshire concert in 2019 and spent time with the Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon, according to a certificate of completion filed by the Assistance League of Los Angeles.

'The Beautiful People' rocker had pleaded no contest - meaning that he accepted the conviction but did not plead guilty for the alleged crime itself - a misdemeanor simple assault charge in July and had a second misdemeanour simple assault charge dropped by the prosecutor.

The crime can carry a jail sentence of up to one year and a $2,000 fine but the injured party asked for $35,000 in damages relating to her camera equipment.

Despite the alleged incident taking place in 2019 during Manson's 'Hell Never Dies' tour, it took another two years for him to hand himself into authorities.

At the time, Manson's attorney Howard King argued that the rock star liked to be "provocative" on stage and slammed the monetary claim as "ludicrous" because there was no evidence of any damages.

He said: "It is no secret to anyone who has attended a Marilyn Manson concert that he likes to be provocative on stage, especially in front of a camera. This misdemeanour claim was pursued after we received a demand from a venue videographer for more than $35,000 after a small amount of spit came into contact with their arm. After we asked for evidence of any alleged damages, we never received a reply.

"This whole claim is ludicrous, but we remain committed to cooperating with authorities, as we have done throughout."

Concertgoers recalled the woman looking "semi-irritated" when Manson - whose real name is Brian Warner - began spitting everywhere.

One told People: "He was spitting everywhere and one time it got on her camera so she wiped it off and looked semi-irritated I think her final straw is he got on the floor, got within two to three feet of her and hacked a giant snot rocket at her not the camera. She was disgusted so she stormed off and he just laughed."

Another claimed: "He spit on her a couple of times and then leaned real close to the camera and blew a huge snot rocket on her. After he did that, she almost threw her camera right down on the ground!"
