Adele driven ‘insane’ by rumoured husband Rich Paul listening to her music
In one of her most emotional and honest interviews yet, Adele has admitted she is driven “insane” by her rumoured husband Rich Paul listening to her music.
Adele is driven “insane” by her rumoured husband Rich Paul listening to her music.
The ‘Chasing Pavements’ singer, 35, who was recently reported to have confirmed at her friend Alan Carr’s comedy gig she had secretly married the 41-year-old sports agent, added they have “always” known “everything” about each other.
She told The Hollywood Reporter when asked if she listens to her own music: “Richard does, it drives me insane. And it’s funny because in my car with my driver, he knows if my song comes on, he has to turn the radio, just turn it off. I don't like it at all.”
Adele added about their bond: “Rich and I have always known everything about each other since the day we got together.
“It was very emotional reading about his mum, because obviously she's not with us, so I’ve never met her.
“And she's such a big part of Richard and the kids and the kids’ mum’s life and stuff like that
“But I knew all about it. I’m getting a bit emotional (begins crying.)
“It was hard for him to write that.”
Adele, who has son Angelo, 10, with her ex-husband Simon Konecki, 49, was last year rumoured to have married Rich.
It’s been widely reported she recently confirmed they had got hitched during her appearance at her friend Alan Carr’s comedy show in Los Angeles.
An onlooker claimed: “I was at Alan Carr’s comedy show in LA tonight and Adele was in the audience. Alan asked the crowd if anyone got married recently and Adele shouted ‘I did’.”
Another audience said about the show: “When (Alan) asked if anyone got married recently she yelled ‘I did.’
“Super cute all around and was super sweet but dipped right before it ended.”
