Adele is warning it’s “not as easy as everyone thinks to have a baby”.

The ‘Chasing Pavements’ singer, 35, who had son Angelo, 10, with her ex-husband Simon Konecki, 49, made the admission in a rare and emotional interview, in which she also said she realises how “lucky” she is to be a mum after seeing her friends struggle to conceive.

She broke down in tears as she told The Hollywood Reporter about being reunited with the doctor who delivered her son while she was performing at her Las Vegas residency: “I hadn’t seen him, my doctor, since my son was four days old.

“It was the most surreal experience of my life. As all my friends are trying for babies – I realised how it’s actually not as easy as everyone thinks to have a baby.

“I’d been thinking about it so much recently, I got his number the next day and I texted him. I never really understood how lucky you can be to have a baby.

“And I didn’t understand the magnitude of him not only bringing my child safely into the world, but keeping me safe in it. This will make me cry. It was so emotional. I had no idea he was (at my show.)”

Adele was left visibly shaken when she was reunited in October with the doctor

who delivered her son at her Las Vegas show.

During a performance of ‘When We Were Young’, the singer could be seen mouthing “Shut up!” in between lines of the ballad, before weeping when she saw the doctor who delivered her baby in the audience during ger Sin City gig.

She said: “Oh my god, Colin! Oh my god! This is my doctor that gave birth to my baby!

“I haven't seen you for years!”

Adele then ran into the audience to be reunited with the medic.
