Donald Trump claims he has had a glowing health report that showed he has lost weight through an “improved diet”.

The scandal-plagued former US president, 77, renowned for gorging on junk food, also boasted his cognitive exam scores are “exceptional”.

Trump issued the report in time to coincide with current US leader Joe Biden’s 81st birthday on Monday (20.11.23) from his personal physician, Dr Bruce Aronwald.

In the one-page document, the medic said he had conducted a comprehensive examination of Trump in September and found the ex-president to have “excellent” health.

He added the former president had lost weight with a better diet and “daily” exercise.

But the report gave no more details and excluded Trump's weight, weight loss or blood pressure

The doctor claimed Trump’s “physical exams were well within the normal range and his cognitive exams were exceptional”.

Trump’s weight and general health have long been the subject of speculation, and when he reported to Fulton county jail in Georgia before one of the four criminal cases against him in August, his height was given as 6ft 3in and his weight as 15st 5lb.

The release of Trump’s report is being seen as a jibe against Biden, who is struggling with approval ratings.

A string of opinion polls have shown he trails Trump in the presidential race.

Already the oldest serving president in US history, Biden would be 86 by the time he left office after a second term.
