Harry Styles has given a couple who got engaged at one of his concerts an unusual present by putting them in his latest music video.

The 32-year-old singer invited Marivel and Frankie to appear in the clip for Coming Up Roses, the very song playing when Frankie proposed at Madison Square Garden earlier this month.

The pair can be seen holding hands near the end of the video, which was released on Monday (26.10.26).

Styles joins them for a group photograph after taking part in a ballroom dancing class alongside an assortment of strangers.

The video also features a bride, a waitress and a cowboy, with the singer changing dance partners as the class tries to master a waltz.

Marivel said she never imagined that a night out at a concert would lead to meeting the former One Direction star on a film set.

She wrote: "Meeting Harry Styles and being in the Coming Up Roses music video is something we never imagined."

She thanked him for making their engagement more special and for the roses he sent to congratulate them.

The singer also included a handwritten note expressing how touched he was to have played a small part in their celebration.

Frankie proposed on 7 October, during Styles' 30-show Together, Together residency in New York.

The musician was seated at his piano performing Coming Up Roses when Frankie got down on one knee.

Styles was facing another section of the arena, but turned to find out why the crowd had suddenly started cheering.

The couple were later shown on the venue's big screens, with Marivel displaying her new engagement ring.

She revealed it was her first time seeing Styles perform live.

The romantic ballad features on his fourth studio album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally., which was released in March.

Styles previously told interviewer Zane Lowe that the track had started out as an attempt to write a Christmas song.

That idea disappeared after just two lines, with the singer instead developing a song about how a relationship can be meaningful even if it does not last forever.

The Coming Up Roses video is the fourth visual from the album, following Aperture, American Girls and Dance No More.

Styles is preparing to conclude his Madison Square Garden residency with two Halloween-themed Harryween concerts on Friday (30.10.26) and Saturday (31.10.26).
