Chloe Madeley reveals firework 'exploded' in her four-year-old daughter's face

Chloe Madeley has revealed that a firework "exploded" in her four-year-old daughter's face and sent sawdust into her eyes.
The personal trainer, 39, has assured fans that Bodhi, whom she has with her 41-year-old ex-husband, former rugby union player James Haskell, is fine after her eyes were rinsed out, and warned parents to use child-friendly products with caution.
Taking to social media, Chloe penned: "I bought Bodhi and my niece and nephew some child-friendly indoor fireworks, cute little kid bits like bang snaps, little Halloween crackers and indoor sparklers.
"Bo went to open the snap box and it must have been a rogue one because the whole packet immediately exploded in her hands and in her face, sawdust went in her eyes and it was a very panic-inducing 10 minutes before I’d figured out exactly what had happened.
"She’s fine. We managed to wash all the sawdust out over the course of 10-20 minutes. (sic)"
The Dancing on Ice 2011 star continued: "Not sharing this to do anything other than remind parents even something as innocent as child-friendly bang snaps (which I played with as a kid, as has she multiple times) can go awry.
"So just a little reminder to be extra cautious because even though she was absolutely fine the panic alone was NOT worth it.
"And yes it is entirely my fault but I didn’t actually notice what she was opening until the whole thing exploded and the penny dropped. (sic)"
Chloe, whose parents are TV presenters Richard Madeley, 70, and Judy Finnigan, 78, married James at All Saints church in Berkshire in 2018, and they welcomed Bodhi in 2022.
But a year later, the pair split, which Chloe described as "the worst breakup imaginable".
In May, She told the No Parental Guidance podcast: "Me and my ex-husband, as much as we had the worst breakup imaginable when our marriage fell apart, we've managed to co-parent respectfully throughout all the trauma and toxicity, and it was a lot."
She admitted "one of the many, many reasons" they broke up was to stop their baby daughter from having to see them argue.
Chloe previously admitted being a working single parent is "relentless", but James praised her for being an "amazing mum" and an "amazing woman".
Appearing on ITV's This Morning last year, he added: "She is so talented and smart, and brilliant at what she does.
"When you get separated, obviously, because we live our lives in the public eye in some respect, basically, you put yourself out there, and sometimes people look to you to see how you behave in those situations, and for me, when you separate, the priority always becomes the child, and your egos don't matter.
"We're able to co-parent in a way, sometimes is good, sometimes it's bad, that's what happens. But we do it constructively for our daughter.
"I think it's important to talk about it."
