Celebrity Traitors star Myha'la thinks she would have led Richard E Grant to glory
Industry star Myha'la has reflected on her time on Celebrity Traitors, and pitched an "alternate universe" where she and Richard E. Grant won the whole thing.
Myha'la thinks she could have won the Celebrity Traitors with Richard E. Grant in an "alternate universe".
The 30-year-old actress, who followed the Hollywood star as the second person to be banished from the game on Thursday (08.10.26), wishes she had been chosen as a Traitor, and she is adamant her and Richard could have been a dream team terrorising the castle together.
She told the BBC: "I'm not built to be a Faithful because I’m all about planning and having control and you just can't plan for the unknown.
"I'm annoyed that Richard couldn't stay in because I feel like he could have brought me to the turret and I would have let him win.
"I would have gladly led him to glory! There’s an alternate universe in which he and I get to the final."
The Industry star "immediately got close" to Richard - who was the first contestant to be banished after outing himself as a Traitor almost immediately - and described them as "twin flames".
However, she added: "Really, I shouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him, which is ultimately, I think, my demise.
"Truly, I had a moment with everyone, which was so lovely. I felt quite close to Romesh [Ranganathan]. I felt close to Bella [Ramsey] at points, although I knew right away that they were suspicious of me. That one was really heartbreaking.
"I also hit it off pretty quickly with Leigh-Anne [Pinnock] and Maya [Jama], we just had fun together.
"Really, outside of the game, I’ve made some great new friendships. I can't wait to have a pen pal in Richard. I think Bella and I will stay connected as well. We're HBO siblings!"
Despite forming some close bonds during her time in the castle, Myha'la doesn't want things to be easy for the remaining stars.
Asked if she is remaining Faithful now she's been banished as one, she insisted: "No! I want there to be carnage. Okay, I think I couldn't ever be a properly good Faithful because I always want to be a Traitor.
"I love the chaos. That's why we watch the game. It's fun to watch. It’s about the event, it’s just a game and we want to see wild twists that keep us glued to the fun. So, I hope for more chaos!"
So far, Myha'la and Richard have been banished while broadcaster Amol Rajan was the first Faithful to be murdered.
Original Traitor Maya, who was selected alongside Richard, is still in the game, with James Acaster and new recruit Hannah Fry.
