Celebrity Big Brother's Chesney Hawkes reveals housemate he rarely sees - despite living nearby
Chesney Hawkes has revealed he rarely sees one Celebrity Big Brother co-star despite living in a neighbouring town.
Chesney Hawkes does not see his Celebrity Big Brother co-star Chris Hughes often - despite living in neighbouring towns.
The 54-year-old singer did the star-studded version of the ITV reality show last year alongside Love Island alum Chris, 33, who found love with media personality JoJo Siwa, 23, RuPaul Drag Race UK series four winner Danny Beard, 34, actress Donna Preston, 40, and 68-year-old presenter Trisha Goddard
BANG Showbiz attended TV host Hayley Palmer's An Audience With... Chesney Hawkes at London's The Hippodrome Casino on Monday night (14.09.26), where The One and Only hitmaker revealed he is still in contact with Trisha and The One Show's Angellica Bell, 50, while remaining close to Danny and Donna.
However, Chesney admitted he does not speak to Chris and Dance Moms alum JoJo as often and has lost touch with 74-year-old Hollywood star Mickey Rourke.
Chesney said: "I feel like my year was pretty great, actually.
"I think they were kind enough to put me in with some very warm-hearted, kind people that I'm still very much in touch with all the time."
When Hayley asked whether his housemates had a WhatsApp group chat, Chesney replied: "We never did a group chat, but Danny Beard is my ride or die, and Donna Preston, I love Donna."
Asked whether he is still in touch with Chris and JoJo, Chesney said: "Yeah, I still stay in contact with them, very much so. Not quite as much as Danny and Donna.
"But funnily enough, Chris lives in the next town on from me, so I should probably see him more often."
He added: "I'm still in touch with Trisha Goddard, and Angellica Bell is lovely. We had some good times."
Chesney no longer speaks to Mickey, who was ejected from the programme by bosses following his "unacceptable behaviour".
He said: "I don't stay in contact with Mickey Rourke, funnily enough. There's a few reasons!"
In May 2025, the I'm a Man Not a Boy artist revealed he had some "very deep conversations" with Mickey in the Celebrity Big Brother house, describing The Wrestler star as a "lost soul" who was "very open" with him.
Chesney told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: "Mickey seemed to think that he was only there for a day.
"When it got to five days, he said, ‘I’m leaving today’, and that was it. None of us knew he’d gone until Big Brother told us to go to the sofas.
"He never even unpacked. Big Brother asked him to do it a hundred times. He just left his clothes and shoes all over the floor.
"And when he got dressed, he’d throw it all onto my bed and walk off.
"I’d have to shove it off onto the floor, but he didn’t care.
"He snored like a horse. He slept at the end of my bed, and it would be shaking because he was snoring so loudly.
"He is a lost soul, for sure. We had some very deep conversations, he was very open."
