Helen Flanagan feels 'overwhelmed', but why?
Soap star Helen Flanagan has explained why she feels overwhelmed.
Helen Flanagan has been feeling "overwhelmed" in recent weeks.
The 36-year-old actress - who has Matilda, 11, Delilah, eight, and Charlie, five, with ex-fiance Scott Sinclair - admits that she's recently been struggling to cope with the pressures she faces.
Taking to Instagram after a trip to Chester Zoo, Helen - who recently moved homes - wrote: "Such a good day @chesterzoo Charlie loved it!!! I knew he would as he loves animals [heart emoji] xxx Dill came too, I really feel in some pics she looks like me x
"They didn’t argue too much in the car, my mum did face time in the morning when they were arguing in the house x Im really overwhelmed in the house there is still so much unpacking and boxes so it’s chaos and I can’t return any of my emails or phone calls with these two.
"Matilda had her settling in at secondary school and mum held the fort there x My mum and dad are amazing and help me so much with juggling the kids activities and whenever I need to work x. (sic)"
Helen also claimed that Scott, 37, hasn't seen his kids for almost a month.
She said: "The kids dad has not had them for nearly a month so when he does I’ll get a break x I think I speak for all mums over the school holidays- we are tired but love them so much and so many amazing memories made x
"I can’t wait to go to the gym, have back physio, have a tidy house and I really miss my friends x The six hours they are at school you can do so much x. (sic)"
Helen explained that her neurodivergence complicates her life, too.
The former Coronation Street star said: "I'm neurodivergent and I think all three of my kids are so it can be challenging regulating them, when its a challenge to regulate yourself.
"I was in tears before we left the house as i misplaced my house key and couldn’t lock up, I just wanted to give them a nice day and Charlie found it in the boot.
"It’s important to fill your cup and I’m hoping to get out a bit for the bank holiday, especially for pride. (sic)"
