Gorka Marquez sometimes 'can't be bothered' to have sex with Gemma Atkinson
Gorka Marquez does not always feel in the mood to have sex with his fiancee, Gemma Atkinson, whom he met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017, and popped the question to four years later.
Gorka Marquez says he sometimes "can't be bothered" to have sex with his fiancee Gemma Atkinson.
The ex-Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer made the admission on the latest episode of his and the Hollyoaks alum's Lost In Translation podcast after a listener asked the pair if they ever do not feel like recording episodes, which Gorka, 35, and Gemma, 41, said was the case.
After she noted feeling that way "about everything, not just the pod", Gorka admitted: "Even sometimes when Gemma says, 'Should we have a cheeky one?' I'm like, 'For f**** sake, I can't be bothered.'"
He added: "But I bet she thinks that most of the time, not me."
Talking about the podcast, Gemma continued: "You have to have those days where you think, 'Oh, for eff's sake,' because then you appreciate the other days."
Gorka added: "It's the fact you have to go to the place. And when you're here, I'm loving it.
"It's the same thing when you have to go for a run in the morning. Not every morning you'll be like, 'Oh my God, I can't wait for a run!' But then when you get it done, you're like, 'Oh, actually, I feel better for it.'"
Gemma noted: "Loads of people I know absolutely love their jobs. I love my job.
"But that doesn't mean that on the days you're in, there's not somewhere else you'd rather be."
It comes after Gemma revealed that she accidentally flashed her boobs to Gordon Ramsay on FaceTime.
In 2021, she and Gorka appeared on a relaxed video call with the 59-year-old chef and his 24-year-old daughter, Tilly Ramsay, who appeared on the BBC Latin and Ballroom dance show that year.
During a June episode of the Lost in Translation podcast, Gemma said: "Do you remember when you FaceTimed me?
"He put Gordon Ramsay on the FaceTime to me, and I was sat with my t*** out watching telly in the living room."
Gorka clarified that it happened during pre-show preparations for Strictly Come Dancing.
He said: "No, it wasn’t like that. We were about to start the show, and I was like calling them before the Strictly show starts, and Tilly was on the show, so Gordon and his wife [Tana] just arrived.
"He was like, 'Hey, Gorks, are you OK?' Yeah, I am speaking to Gemma, and he goes, 'Hi Gem.'"
Gemma then told how Gordon appeared on the video call while she was in her dressing gown.
The former Emmerdale star remembered: "He jumped on FaceTime, and, literally, I was in a dressing gown with my t*** out, eating Pringles or something like that, ready to watch Strictly."
Gemma and Gorka met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017, although they were not partnered up, and they got engaged four years later on Valentine's Day.
They have a seven-year-old daughter named Mia, and a three-year-old son called Thiago.
