Love Island's Georgia Steel "dreams" of doing Strictly Come Dancing to honour her grandparents.
The TV personality, who did the ITV2 matchmaking show in 2018 and its All Stars version in 2024, said taking part in the BBC dance competition would be poignant as her late grandmother and grandfather - whom she never met - were ballroom dancers.
Georgia, 28, told NetBet: "Strictly Come Dancing is my absolute dream! I have watched it ever since I was young and it has always been a dream of mine, but the timing has never been right for me.
"I was doing all the dating shows, now I’m engaged, and in a completely different phase of life, I think it really fits with what I want to do now.
"My grandparents used to be ballroom dancers before they sadly passed away, and I’ve seen loads of photos of them dancing, so I’ve seen the history of it in my family and how they used to compete and win competitions.
"So, I’d love to do something that runs in the family, and the fact I’ve never done ballroom dancing in my life, it would be a huge nod to my Grandparents, considering that I never got to meet them or had a proper relationship with them.
"I can’t put into words how special it would be to honour them by going on Strictly."
Last August, a source told The Sun that the brunette beauty - who is set to marry 25-year-old Ipswich Town F.C. player Harry Clarke - "has decided she no longer wants to do reality TV" to focus on her career as a qualified Pilates instructor.
However, a representative for Georgia said she was not interested in doing any more dating shows, but is up for taking part in other types of reality TV programmes.
They explained: "While Georgia is taking a step back from reality dating shows, she would love the opportunity in the future to appear on programs like Strictly Come Dancing, Celebrity Bake Off, or SAS: Who Dares Wins, to showcase herself to the nation beyond a dramatised reality format and reveal a different side of her personality that not many people get to see apart from her boyfriend, close friends and family."
