Gail Porter has been left with bruising and "superficial scars" after she was accidentally knocked over while going down stairs at a tube station in London.
The TV star took to Instagram on Friday (24.07.26) and revealed her injuries from the horror fall en route to Trainspotting The Musical last week to support pals, and slammed the "keyboard warriors" who said that "something was wrong with my face".
Urging people to be kind over how someone looks and behaves, Gail's caption read: "So … to all you wonderful keyboard warriors that said I’m looking old, and saying something was wrong with my face…
"I went to @trainspottingthemusical to support my friends that created this. Last week.. I was knocked over while going down the stairs at a London Tube Station.
"It was just a wee accident on the stairs. Nothing intentional!
"My scars are superficial and it’s not a problem. It was an accident and it won’t stop me being me.
"Please… from the bottom of my heart.. don’t ever be disrespectful to anyone for how they look or how they are.
"Kindness is so invaluable x (sic)."
In a separate post, The Big Breakfast host posted a selfie on an escalator in what appears to be a tube station, and declared herself "a wee Scottish Warrior".
Gail, 55, added: "Just always look out for each other. Simple x And good concealer!!! (sic)"
And then in another upload, the Top of the Pops presenter posted a selfie in a tube station wearing oversized sunglasses, with the caption: "A few bruises well covered up! The wonders of make up!!!! (sic)"
Gail has been bombarded with well wishes from her celebrity pals and fans.
TV presenter Sarah Cawood, 53, wrote: "My poor girl! That looks sore. Honestly Gail, what IS this world we live in? Sending you a giant squish darling x (sic)."
TV personality Lizzie Cundy, 58, penned: "Hope you feel better darling, ignore those who write nasty things. We all love you Sending you huge love. (sic)"
Altered Images frontwoman Clare Grogan, 64, typed: "Sending Love Gail! Xxx (sic)."
One of Gail's supporters reacted: "Jesus Gail! So sorry that happened and rest up before August if you can my beautiful pal x (sic)."
