Jeremy Clarkson’s disclosure he is suffering prostate cancer has prompted a sharp rise in the number of men seeking information about the disease.

Prostate Cancer UK has reported it had the busiest day of the year after the diagnosis was revealed by the former Top Gear presenter, 66, on the latest series of Clarkson’s Farm.

The charity said 16,749 men completed its online risk checker in the 24 hours after Jeremy revealed his diagnosis during the fifth series of the Amazon Prime Video programme on Wednesday (17.06.26.)

According to Prostate Cancer UK, it marked the highest daily total since former prime minister David Cameron disclosed his own prostate cancer diagnosis last year.

The organisation also recorded 43,543 visitors to its website, which it said was the highest figure of 2026 so far and around double its usual traffic.

The surge followed the release of the final two episodes of Clarkson’s Farm series five, in which Jeremy’s health battle was featured.

The presenter, who is also known for Top Gear, The Grand Tour and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, has received widespread support from viewers and fellow public figures since the programme aired.

Speaking about Jeremy’s condition, his Clarkson’s Farm colleague Kaleb Cooper has said: “He’s in good form, he’s in good spirits.

“So yeah, all is good.

“It’s like reliving it again in a way, because the show is filmed a year in advance.

“The only thing I can say is that as a friend and as a, I would say a close friend, I’m supportive in every way.

“I’ve been there for the whole of that journey and I’m still here to this very day.”

Kaleb, who manages operations at Jeremy’s Diddly Squat Farm, and has become one of the breakout stars of Clarkson’s Farm, was shown becoming emotional during the series after learning of Jeremy’s diagnosis.

The scene quickly gained attention online following the release of the episodes.

Prostate Cancer UK said the increase in people using its risk checker reflected growing public awareness generated by high-profile figures discussing their experiences with the disease.

The charity’s figures showed a marked increase in engagement immediately after Jeremy’s diagnosis became public through the programme.

The NHS and Prostate Cancer UK also reported increased interest and enquiries following the broadcast, as viewers sought information about symptoms, testing and risk factors.

News of Jeremy’s diagnosis spread rapidly across social media and across national news outlets after the episodes became available in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Jeremy has not made any public statement since the episode aired, although messages of support from members of the public and celebrities have continued to appear online and on his social media following the broadcast.

He did post on Instagram the last episodes of the latest series were a “really difficult” watch.

The latest series of Clarkson’s Farm has again drawn significant attention for its focus on the realities of farming life, while also documenting major developments in Jeremy’s personal life and health.

The programme remains one of Amazon Prime Video’s most successful factual entertainment series.
