The Only Way Is Essex star Jake Hall's cause of death remains unknown over a month after he died in Majorca, an inquest heard.

The 35-year-old TV personality was found with fatal head wounds after he fell through a single-glazed glass door at a holiday villa in Santa Margalida on May 6.

On Tuesday (16.06.26), an inquest opened at East London Coroner's Court, and heard that a post-mortem carried out at East Ham Mortuary was unable to determine a cause of death, while Hall's body had also been repatriated to the UK following the tragedy.

Area coroner Nadia Persaud asked Spanish authorities to give the court copies of the toxicology report, police reports and witness statements.

She also made Hall's family "interested persons", meaning they can question evidence and witnesses at a future inquest.

A provisional date for the full inquest was set for December 7, 2026.

Hall was found dead in a holiday home in Santa Margalida on May 6 after a night out.

Police officers were called to the rented house at around 7.30am that morning.

Four men and two women, who were staying at the property, were said to have been quizzed by officers.

A source told The Sun that "witnesses told investigators he had been out partying all night and decided to carry on the party back at the place he was renting".

The Guardia Civil previously confirmed that there was no "criminal activity" surrounding Hall's death.

His autopsy took place in Palma, but the results have not been made public.

Hall's funeral took place on June 12 at St Mary the Virgin, in Wanstead, London.

Attendees included his ex-partners, Real Housewives of Cheshire's Misse Beqiri - with whom he has eight-year-old daughter, River - and Chloe Lewis, 35, TOWIE's James 'Arg' Argent, 38, and Liam ‘Gatsby’ Blackwell, 37, as well as 51-year-old footballer David Beckham's mum Sandra, 77, and 44-year-old sister Joanne.

Following Hall's death, Misse, 39, penned a tribute, which read: "I never thought I would ever have to write this, and the pain of even putting these words down feels unbearable. There was no way you were ever supposed to go. My heart is shattered, and so is our daughter's.

"You lit up every room you walked into - your smile, your charm, your energy that filled the air. The way you loved music, how deeply you felt every sound, your creativity, your mind, your spirit.

"You were so deeply loved by so many people, and seeing the love everyone has for you is both heartbreaking and beautiful all at once."
